Overview:

Bi-Component Polyurethane Waterproof Coating belongs to the double-component chemical reaction curing waterproof coating. Component A is the isocyanate terminated prepolymer obtained by polycondensation of polyether and isocyanate. Component B is a colored liquid composed of plasticizer, curing agent, thickener, accelerator and filler. During application, both components A and B are mixed evenly according to proportion, and then painted on the surface of waterproof base course, which is often crosslinked and solidified to form rubber like elastic film, thus playing a waterproof role. After curing, the Bi-Component Polyurethane Waterproof Coating forms a seamless and complete elastic waterproof layer, which can improve the waterproof and impermeability of construction engineering, which can not be achieved by coiled material waterproofing. Especially, the coating film has high strength and extensibility, and has strong adaptability to base cracking or expansion.

 

Features:

  1. Each base course is firmly bonded, and the waterproof coating material has strong adhesion with concrete, wood, metal, ceramic, asbestos tile, etc., and can also be used as adhesive.
  2. Easy to use. Polyurethane coating is a kind of waterproof coating for cold construction. During construction, only two components (A and B) need to be mixed evenly in proportion, and then applied on the waterproof base.

Construction Requirements:

  • The base course shall be firm, flat and free of sundries. The internal and external corners shall be made into arc shape, with the diameter of internal angle greater than 50mm and the diameter of external angle greater than 10mm.
  • Ingredients and dosage: according to the construction dosage, mix evenly.

 

Key Points of Construction:

  1. Film thickness

The thickness of underground works is 0.8~1.0mm/layer, which can be overlapped in multiple ways to meet the waterproof fortification requirements, and the matrix reinforcement material can be added between the coatings; the recommended thickness of toilet is not more than 0.5mm/layer, and the matrix reinforcement material can be added in between the coating; the exposed roof project is not more than 0.8mm/layer, which can be superimposed according to the fortification requirements.

 

  1. Process flow

Inspection of construction preparation → base treatment → construction of additional waterproof layer at node part → inspection and sealing of end part of large surface coating waterproof layer → inspection and acceptance of coating waterproof layer → construction of protective layer.

 

  1. Base treatment

The waterproof base course should be flat and solid, without holes, voids & pits and pockmarked surface, sanding, uneven concave and convex defects. The internal and external corners should be circular.

 

  1. Construction of additional waterproof layer

The joints such as pipe root, internal and external corner deformation joints shall be strengthened, and the coating film with thickness of about 1mm shall be added, which shall be painted in 2~3 times. If the matrix reinforcement material needs to be added, the coating should be soaked into the matrix and covered completely.

 

  1. Large area coating construction

It can be applied by scraping or spraying. It should be applied in 2~3 times. When coating in different times, the advancing direction of each coating should be perpendicular to the previous one. When it is necessary to lay matrix reinforcement material between coatings, the matrix should be paved while coating. The matrix should be paved smoothly to eliminate bubbles and be firmly bonded with the coating.

 

  1. Sealing of closing part

Check the end part and apply edge coating.

 

After the coating construction is completed and accepted, the protective layer construction shall be carried out according to the corresponding specifications or design requirements.
